A stone statue Jizo found in Sugamo area. Many elderly people visit this place to see Jizo. Jizo is surrounded by very warm atmosphere probably created by the belief of these people.
Jizo height of about 3.5 meters quietly sits here since 1714 and looking after the people crossing by one of the major routes to Kyoto of the day, Nakasendo.
